Three free masterclasses in August

Hello dear one,

For weeks, we've been exploring imprints together, the patterns we each hold in our bodies and that come out in ways we weren't taught to see or understand. It's the work that was explained to me and I didn't understand, but trusted that my mentor, Ray Castellino, knew something that I didn't know yet. And once you see it, you can't unsee it and it has been the thing that helps me to understand myself and those around me in a different, more compassionate way.

So I'm excited to announce that we're going to be exploring the story underneath the story together in the form of three no cost masterclasses coming up in August. If you were around for the Unlocking Connection masterclass earlier this year, I'll be doing the same thing again. We'll watch the pre-recorded video together for 25-30 minutes together (no homework to do ahead of time, so you can just show up!) and then we'll talk about it afterwards. That's the part I'm most excited about because I get to be with you and answer the questions that come up for you about your own life.

For Parents- Saturday, August 8 at 12:30pm EDT. We're going to be exploring your child's instruction manual. It's the story your child arrived with and the one that shows up in your most challenging moments. It's relevant no matter how old your child is now.

For curious adults- Saturday, August 15 at 2pm EDT. We'll be talking about your own patterns and those quirky things you may do that you've never understood why. This is great for young adults who want to understand themselves in a more compassionate light, as well as adults of any age or life stage.

For helping professionals- Saturday, August 8 at 10:30am EDT. We'll be exploring where this all begins for the people you walk alongside in your work. And we'll also be looking at why this work starts with your own story.

Because you're already on my list, you can just click the title of the call (or calls) most interesting to you and you'll be added to the call for reminders and Zoom links. I'll also send you the recording of the presentation ahead of time so you can watch it before hand if you'd like.

You're welcome to come to more than one if more than one is true for you. Many of us here wear more than one hat!

It's free. There's a seat for you. Come as you are!

Be curious. Be kind. Start with yourself.

Warmly,

Rebecca

P.S. Know someone this would reach? The doors are open to them too. Just send them to thrivinghumans.org/back-to-birth, where they can save a seat from there.

Hello dear one, A couple of weeks ago, we gathered for our first community circle, and the theme that wanted to come through was reciprocity. I give, you receive. You give, I receive. We started with an example that most of us recognize: with the pay-it-forward coffee. Maybe you remember that trend of buying a Starbucks for the stranger behind you in line? It's a lovely impulse. I know it made me feel like there was more kindess in the world! But I realized that person being gifted a coffee...

A gentle note before you read this: This letter mentions infant loss. If that is a tender subject, please take care of yourself and read when you're ready or not at all. Hello dear one, Nineteen years ago, I started The Consciously Parenting Project on my son Jacob's birthday. Jacob came into the world 24 years ago on Sept 21, 2002 at 10am and he left at noon. He had a neural tube defect that was incompatible with life. He was born at home right after the heat of summer broke as tornadoes...

Hello dear one, Just a quick note before the weekend: the Fall Equinox Radical Rest Retreat begins tomorrow, this Friday, September 18, at 12pm EDT, and there's still room if you'd like to join us. You don't have to be ready. You don't have to clear the whole weekend. You can drop in for one call, rest for an hour, or take part in whatever way fits your actual life. The whole point is that slowing down even a little, even imperfectly, can show you something you couldn't see while you were...
